Jessica McCormack On The Rocks Earrings – Baguette Diamond And Chalcedony Drops Fashion Jewellery

From the On The Rocks collection by Jessica McCormack these beautiful drop earrings are set with a 0.30 carat baguette cut diamond encased in a puffy, 18k yellow gold surround, linked to a 0.50 carat baguette cut diamond resting within a stormy blue coloured chalcedony drop, with a total diamond weight of 1.60 carats.The softly imperfect shapes, appear as if pressed and kneaded by hand, creating a pair of earrings that quietly elevate the everyday.

The collection is inspired by abstract sculptures. In particular Barbara Hepworth’s work, whose forms are evocative of British Coastal walks – hills, riverbanks, and skies. Diamonds appear bright and icy against the chalcedony muted tones, which is reminiscent of overcast, British coastal skies at summertime. The shape of the earrings resemble pebbles found tumbled on a riverbank, or worn smooth by waves.
